Terms and Conditions
Below are our Terms & Conditions which you must read through, and accept BEFORE you book for one of our flights.
1. All passengers must be capable of standing for the duration of the flight, and be able to enter and exit the basket unassisted.
2. A parent or guardian must accompany any child under the age of 16.
3. Passengers with health considerations accept the responsibility to consult a doctor before embarking on a balloon flight. If there are any questions regarding physical suitability, or health limitations, please discuss these with us before booking. We will do all that we can to accommodate prospective passengers, however we reserve the right to refuse anyone who, in our opinion, would be a safety liability to themselves or others.
4. We consider it unsafe to fly when pregnant.
5. Our Quoted Rates Include Vat of 14%. All rates are not commission bearing, unless otherwise stated.
- An Invoice or a Pro-Forma Invoice will be e-mailed or Faxed to the purchaser on request and the original will be mailed. Accounts must be paid immediately on presentation.
6. Waivers, concessions or indulgencies may be considered on the merit of the individual situation and will have effect only when confirmed by us in writing. Any indulgence that we may grant the client shall not constitute a waiver of any past or future rights by us.
7. On effecting payment by a direct bank deposit or transfer, the client is required to fax or e-mail us a copy of the relevant transaction documentation to the address given with our banking details. Bookings are confirmed only once this is received.
- The first booking paid for, will receive precedence over others unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by us.
- The greater the delays of any agreed payment schedule, the less precedence that clients booking will receive over other bookings currently on file.
- The onus rest with the client to ensure delivery of any payment, and the client must reaffirm the delivery of payment with us should he/she not receive acknowledgement, or relative communication from us, within 2 business days of it being effected.
8. Cancellation:
- Individual cancellation must be made 72 hours prior to the flight. 50% of the pre-payment will be retained.
- If cancellation is received later than indicated the 100% deposit will be retained.
- Corporate cancellations must be made 3 weeks prior to the flight. 50% of the pre-payment will be retained.
- If cancellation is received later than indicated the 100% deposit will be retained.
- No-show forfeits 100% pre-payment.
9. Pilots will always endeavor to conduct flights for the full duration as published, subject to the paramount consideration for safety as well as passenger comfort and convenience.
- Flights less than fifteen percent (15%) of the duration will be categorized as cancelled and the flight can be re-booked or the pre-payment refunded.
- If the flight is cancelled by us for safety reasons or we do not have a full basket to justify a flight, the flight will either re-booked or the pre-payment refunded.
10. If for any reason a refund is due, this shall only be made via the same channel or medium as the pre-payment had been made and to the same company or person who effected them.
11. Overdue Accounts will bear Interest at the rate of two and a half percent (2.5%) per month or the legally allowed maximum as defined by the Usury act (South Africa).
12. Air to Air Africa cc reserves the right to decline any passenger should such person’s health, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation, or the enjoyment of the other passengers. Anyone intoxicated will be denied participation, and the passenger shall be deemed to have cancelled their reservation.
13. We reserve the right to accept bookings from more than one group in order to accommodate the maximum number of passengers per flight
